JumpStart Cooking Episode 35: Chicken on a Bed of Peppers

First off, we apologize for getting this episode out late. In case you didn’t know, this show is shot and edited in north Alabama. On April 27th, 2011, we had one of the worst outbreaks of tornadoes in history. Many people lost their lives in these terrible storms. We honor their memories and offer our condolences to the families impacted by this event.

Unfortunately, we did take some damage here at the homestead where the show is edited. We were without power for 5 and 1/2 days. We’re back now though. Our apologies for the lateness!

With that, we move on. In this episode, Donovan introduces you to a fantastic, tasty dish. Here you’ll learn how to make chicken on a bed of peppers. It’s a delightful and delicious meal that can be prepared in minutes using the JumpStart way!

Where’s the new episode!?

We usually post new episodes of JumpStart Cooking on Monday mornings at 6:00am Central time. Unfortunately, we were impacted by the tornadoes that struck Alabama on April 27th. We’re all safe and okay, but the power situation has been very bad.

About 30% of our city had power restored late last night, but the house of the producer/editor (me!) had some extra damage that took us off the grid. A tree came down on the power lines feeding from the pole to the house. Even though power is restored to this street, we’re still out of service.

We apologize there is no new episode, but hopefully it will be back next week!
